Yesterday, Teleclip TV, along with New York University's Spanish BETAC was again at PS24 in Brooklyn to continue with the second part of the Workshop: "Using Technology in the Classroom: - Video and Web in the Classroom". This time, as a Teleclip TV expert, I talked with the teachers about Image Rights and Copyright Issues when working with video and material found in the web in the classroom, but for the majority of the session it was the teachers themselves who intervened. They shared experiences about making a video project in class with their students and we got to see some finished videos and some others that are still a work in progress. Videos about various subjects such as "Bullying in School", "Celebrating Diversity" , "Picasso", "Soccer" or "Kids who like monsters" were either presented or are being finished as part of projects in class. All of them did an excellent job and expressed their enthusiasm about working with video in class reporting ,in general, that they had a meaningful, engaging and highly educational experience with their students.
Check back soon on our Web channel Teleclip.tv where we will publish the finished videos as well as making of video that will show part of the teachers' experiences and the process of recording their videos with their students.
